what sail boat should i get?

im a 64kg teenager pritti god sailer wanted to get a 2 man boat. the crew bout 70kg up. he not experinced but i can teach him. wanting a cheep 2 man dinghy thats under 14ft thats got some speed. will be sailing it on broad water on gold coast(protected waters) any help at all ill be good

you should go to the local yacht club and see what they are racing. then ask for a ride and see if you like the boat. get one of them, if you like what they are racing. They can help you get a good boat and help you rig it. For most people with a sailboat, most of the fun comes from racing. Without a race, you might not bother to go out if the wind is light or not perfect, and after a while it gets pretty boring just drifting around with no other sailboats boats around. (I’ve been racing small boats (1 and 2 person) for over 50 years and still have fun.
