Senko Fishing Lure
How to rig, fish Senko??
Im going fishing w/Senko, Comida type lures. How to rig and use?????????????
The 2 main riggs are-
A). Texas-rigged with a 4/0-5/0 offset hook (preferably Gamakatsu, Owner, Daichi). You can use a bullet worm weight, but (in my opinion) using a weight diminishes the action. Let it slowly sink to the bottom and then jerk it a couple Ft or so and repeat. The Bass will usually hit it on “the fall”.
B). Wacky Worm style- Use a weedless hook design and either hook it in the middle of the Senko (with the hook exposed) or at the VERY beginning of the Senko with hook exposed. Let it slowly sink to the bottom then use a “Pulse, Pulse, Sink” retrieve. Vary the sink rate.
You can also Carolina Rig Senko’s but (in my opinion) they work best on a Texas Rig.
