The park is also home to a number of refreshing waterfalls, steaming geysers, and crystal clear lakes as well, all of which make the park the natural wonder that it is. From Old Faithful to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone visitors are delighted by the one of a kind scenery found in the Yellowstone National Park. But Yellowstone and Glacier National are only the beginning of the scenery to be enjoyed here. The state is home to numerous pristine lakes and both raging and peaceful rivers perfect for such activities as boating, camping, fishing, and a variety of other water sports. And don’t forget the numerous safari and nature preserves that can be found throughout the state either. For the nature lover Montana is surely the place to vacation.

Montana is also known for its interesting and intriguing history. Visitors to Montana will have the opportunity to walk along the Lewis and Clark Trail, get a glimpse of a life size T-Rex, and explore one of the states old ghost towns. Throughout the state there a number of battlefields to toured such as the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, museums to visit such as the Bigfork Art and History Museum, and historic landmarks to to go to such as Citadel Rock. Here visitors have the opportunity to explore the stuff of movies and novels, a wonderful experience for the whole family. Montana is even a great place to go on that much needed romantic getaway or a vacation with old friends.
